Theme chic – Logo not visible

    Hello,

    I would like to use the theme chic for my website and have a problem with the logo.
    At the customizer I can choose a logo and publish it.
    But the logo is not visible (e.g. if I check it with a diffent browser).
    After a refresh of the customizer the logo dissappears also there.
    But it had worked before. My impression is, that it had occured for the first time after the update of the theme.
    I tried already diffent file formats, different sizes without success :(.
    There is also no problem with other themes.

    Any idea?

    Hi,

    thank you for your answer.
    Sorry, that I didn’t describe my problem detailed enough!
    In one sentence: There is no way to ad a logo to the theme.
    What I do:
    Desing -> theme Chic lite => customizer => ad a logo => say publish => logo is visible => i click refresh (or F5) => there is no logo any more

    And there is also a second problem :(.
    My menu is also not visible.
    It is still there and with other themes visible, not with chic lite.

    In the meantime…
    I deleted the theme chic and installed it again, the same.
    I tested at least 5 themes, all without any problems

    Hi,

    unfortunately the same problem occrured now also with 2 other themes.
    It is quite weired. Everything works fine for a while, than I do e.g. a system-update or change a minor setting in WordPress, than it happens!
    Than the logo and the menu are away :(.
    Very weired and very worrying at the same time.

    So it’s not a theme issue, it’s a wordpress issue.

    Hello @memo08,

    Yes, if this is happening with all the themes then the issue is not with the theme.

    Maybe some activated plugin is creating an issue?

    Have you tried deactivating the plugin and checking the issue?

    Hello,

    after deaktivation and/or deleting of some plugins (sorry, I didn’t pay attention which one…) my problem disappeared.
    All tested themes are working without any problems.

    I am happy to hear that your issue has been solved.

    Yes, sometimes the issue might be due to some plugin conflict or due to plugin/server cache.
