Before anyone does not understand what i mean – at Tomas own Code it is:

<img width=”85″ height=”85″ src=”http://mtomas.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/Oblate-of-St-Benedict-vs.png” class=”custom-logo attachment-full” alt=”Oblate of St. Benedict” data-size=”full” itemprop=”logo” />

I see that Tiny Framework supports site-logo and Jetpack. But in fact i cant find any option to add a logo in Jetpack from WordPress. Frustrating…..it should be only a simple Option like the Website-Icon. Any simple help?

Hi, sorry about this, but Jetpack implemented it as a part of the Customizer. Please go to customizer and check Site Identity.

Tomas can you please say a little more about how to get the custom logo to appear? There is no image/logo upload link under customizing > site identity, only a site icon link.

Do I need to install a plugin?

I have a freshly installed child theme per your helpful user guide if that makes a difference.

Thanks

That is where I started. It simply says you can upload a logo from the site and tag line customization item, however there is no obvious way to do so. That customized item only has fields for site title, tag line, and a site icon (not logo). I apologize if I am missing something obvious but I do not see it.

Additional info:
I do have jetpack installed, as mentioned in inc/plugin-compatability.php
I am using a child theme, if that makes any difference. I have a modified copy of header.php in the child theme. The only modification is to line 158 to display the header image only on the front page.
There is no logo upload button in customizer site identity.

okay nevermind. Apparently jetpack not only has to be installed, but you also have to have it connected to a wordpress.com account, which I did not. Now there is a link for uploading the logo. Sorry for the trouble.

Hi all and many thanks Tomas for this theme!

Same problem with the logo.

I don’t really understand the link with jetpack but I installed it. Problem: I developp in local (wamp) and jetpack need a public access to connect with a wp.com account.

So, in local, no way to customize a logo but adding code in child files? That’s it?

Thanks for your reply!

Ok, forgot it.

I found the solution with the old Site Logo plugin witch has been integrated to Jetpack.

Bye!
