@smgwebdesign After moving from one URL to another, you’ll need to do a search / replace of all the site’s URLs in the database. There are plugins to assist with the process – I wish WordPress made it part of its core functionality.

    Did you resolve this?

If not, simply reselect the image and it will use the new URL from the image in the Media Library (if these URLs are correct).

A search and replace in the database was of course done with an appropriate plugin, the move also worked fine. Only the logo was not replaced correctly. Even deleting and resetting the logo as described did not help.

I rewrote the URL directly in the database, then it worked.

I will see at the next launch if this was a one-time problem or if it happens again.

@smgwebdesign When selecting the icon in the Setup tab, it simply uses the ID of the image (e.g. 123). This may be a caching issue of the corresponding image’s URL in the Media Library.

If you used the shortcode parameter, then this value would need changing to the new URL (but the search/replace will recognise this).

Let me know what you find next time.

    Thanks,

@smgwebdesign In the latest version: 3.4, it checks for the image’s URL slightly differently – so it should be more stable when the site’s URL is changed.
