    Yeah, and part of it is DON’T customize that file πŸ™‚

    What you did is called ‘modifying core’ and that is always a bad idea.

    Instead, you should make your OWN css and put it in your theme’s folder.

    First make sure you’re using a CHILD theme, otherwise when you upgrade your theme you’ll loose it. If you are, make a folder in that theme folder and call it custom.

    And inside that folder create a new stylesheet called login.css. Then you put all your changes in that login.css file and you will keep them when you upgrade.

    Then edit your functions.php file and make sure you have this in there:

    function tork_custom_login() {
    echo '<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="'.get_bloginfo('template_directory').'/custom/login.css" />';
    add_action('login_head', 'tork_custom_login');

    You may not need the <?php and ?> calls if you already have a functions.php with some code πŸ™‚

    heh we both came up with the same solution!
    thank yo very much Ipstenu!

    topic is solved πŸ™‚
