Been Googling this one and cant find anything on it which I find strange as it seems crazy to me that the Username is always automatically visible on and posts made by the user logged in with that username. In other words if a user logs in with JohnDoe_Admin, then all his posts will show the author publically as Author = JohnDoe_Admin, therefore gives 50% of the game away, leaving on the password to be hacked. Is there some way to seperate out the Username from the publically displayed Author? Plugin Preferbly? Dont want to be manually configuring SQL DB tables if possible thanks.

This is why this plugin was created. WordPress is using the Display Name to show post author. But on every user creation the Display Name uses the Login. This plugin prevents WordPress from doing such a mess 😉

    Hello
The next version (coming soon) will propose you to install another plugin. This one can easily change this without modifying the DB.
This is “SF Author Url Control” made by my friend “GregLone”.
Feel free to test, you won’t regret.
    Best regards – Julio
