It seems you have rename login page feature on right?
It will make sure that the wp-login.php not accessible.
It might be /wp-login a custom page or any other plugin functionality which might be loading the login page.
Let me know if that is not the case.

Thanks for your reply. The permission of wp-login is 0640. So it has to be okay.
I am using Elementor. Some sites with custom login, some not.
And on every site I can access wp-login. 😢
I’m pretty sure that it worked on lower versions.
any other idea what I can so? It’s because of the permission denied mails. I have received them for 3 days now…

I’ll try it that way once again:
if you want to Login to WP there are 2 ways: http://www.url.com/wp-admin or http://www.url.com/wp-login
wp-admin is hidden, but not wp-login
And I am pretty sure both links were blocked in the past via the hide-login function.

I cross checked the {site_url}wp-login.php do not show login page and {site_url}wp-admin shows “Not available”. It is functionality of AIOS renamed login page.
but for your site {site_url}wp-login loads the login page it should be custom login page by theme or plugin functionality.
Can you please let me know which plugins / themes are installed?

If I cross check the plugins list – Two factor plugin I thought might be the issue but it is not the case.
can you please cross check pages list and make sure there is not wp-login url page. also please corss check .htaccess it do not have redirect set some how.
Also if possible try disable one by one plugins list. If possible ask your hosting provider as the have the login direct from c-panel related any must use plugin there.

I disabled every plugin one by one – wp-login is always reachable.
So I had a look at a webpage from a friend of mine: https://pastebin.com/BGxbwQyz
And also there – wp-admin is not accesable, wp-login is accessable.
He uses different plugins than I use. So, in the end, it must have something to do with the AIOS plugin.

If I cross check the wp-login page and the renamed login page URL both have different output like language selection at bottom is there in wp-login URL. But I am sure it is not AIOS functionality, can you please let me know which hosting do you use ?
