For Login,
I would recommend checking the settings of the “ultimate members” plugin. I doubt you must have mis-configured something or you may have installed a third party plugin that has conflict with “ultimate members”.
Regarding Search,
I have double checked this after reading your post and this works fine for us here.
You can confirm this yourself here https://pluginsware.com/demo/
Try the pattern “FLORIDA => MIAMI” and you can see an Item shows for this search. If you change the sub-location to something else other than “MIAMI”, you should not see any results. It means, the search works as expected.
So, I’m not sure what goes wrong for you. Kindly get me your site link to check this.
I have checked your demo, yes it works fine, as mine did until at least the 12th April.
The ‘Ultimate Member’ plugin you set-up for me when i had another problem months ago.
The only plugin i have added since the site stopped working is ‘W3 Total Cache’
which i have tried disabling and it still does not work correctly.
My website is here
Still, I would recommend checking the settings of “Ultimate Members” plugin to see what breaks the site login or you can just write to that developer.
Note: Our next version is coming out with our registration/login system.
Regarding Search,
I see the following error in the developer console,
“Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined”
I believe this comes because of the mis-configuration of the “W3 Total Cache” plugin. It shows that the JQuery is loaded in wrong order. Kindly check “Step 3: Reorder and move JavaScript files for maximum improvement without breaking site presentation.” section in https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/w3-total-cache-questions-answered/
Hope, this helped you!
thanks for that, have re-ordered the jquery to top of list
also the ultimate member login was because of the order of .css loading too
so i have managed to cure it all
thanks for your help
