Support » Plugin: Theme My Login » Login shortcode not working

  • I created a custom page using the tml login shortcode -> [theme-my-login action=”login” show_links=”0″] and updated the slug in TML settings page.
    The login page displays fine but on clicking login, the page refreshes and stays the same and I am not logged in. There are no console errors and in the network tab, the status code is 200 and the response for the /login request is a html page which looks like the same page

    Please can some provide any suggestions? It was working fine when I was using the standard login page which comes along with TML

    Debugged it a bit more using PHPStorm and found out that when used as a shortcode, its missing the action and hence failing at
    function tml_parse_request( $wp ) {
    if ( ! isset( $wp->query_vars[‘action’] ) ) {

    A rewrite rule gets created for whatever slug you choose. If a page exists with that slug, it is appended to the rewrite rule. Perhaps you have some server-side caching occurring?

    Thanks for replying .No, there was no caching.
