  • Hey @lucastraikoff,

This sounds like a very common caching issue. LifterLMS is a very dynamic plugin — a lot of our content MUST be unique to the current user / visitor. You can’t just cache everything and serve everyone the same static HTML content.

It sounds to me like your students are getting served the static (cached) version of your pages immediately after login.

Most caching plugins have a setting to disable caching for logged in users but on your report I’m not seeing any caching plugins installed. Does your host have some caching enabled that may be added via a Must Use or Drop-In plugin? Many hosts add caching features through plugins that you wouldn’t see in the regular plugin list and may have these kinds of settings.

You can review our caching guide here: https://lifterlms.com/docs/caching-issues-faqs/

If you’re not sure about that or you can’t find anything you could contact your host and see if they could provide you with some assistance here. It really does sound like a caching issue so I’m pretty sure that’s what’s happening based on your description. The unfortunate thing about caching is that there are so many different ways to cache content and despite the fact that LifterLMS sends no-cache headers for certain content that shouldn’t be cached not all caching mechanisms recognize these headers. In many instances you (the site owner) needs to configure caching settings or work with your host to get exceptions added.

Let me know if that helps,
