# login problems please help!!!!

 * I have not used wordpress in over a year ive tried to login and I get this error
   message:
 * WordPress database error: [Lost connection to MySQL server during query]
    SELECT
   option_value FROM wp_options WHERE option_name = ‘wp_user_roles’ LIMIT 1 now 
   i cannot login

 * this is really streng.. do you still see your old post on your blog ?? just make
   sure your database connection is proper and their is no change from database 
   side (database name,password,connection string).

 * Yes my blog is still up and post are still up.
    Would it help to upgrade my WordPress
   Software on the server?
