Login problems

MY standard template comes up ok on a new blog I am hosting with crystal tech. But when I try to login to admin, it says error – wrong user name. This is the same user name and password as listed in the config file right? I have done some of the things on the support page, re-installed the login file, cleared the cookies and a few other things, but no change. Any suggestions? They do not use myphp admin tools…
