Support » Plugin: All In One WP Security & Firewall » Login problem – WordPress resets password every time I log out.

  • Hello, I have a problem on my websites.

After removing all plugins one by one, it turns out that the problem exists only when your plugin “All In One WP Security & Firewall” is activated.

I can’t login into wordpress after I logged out.
It says the password is incorrect.
So I reset the password, receive an email with instructions, create a new password inside wordpress control panel.
Everything works fine, I can even close my browser/tab, reopen it with my website, and I am still logged in.
But if I manually press “log out” button, I can’t log in anymore. Have to reset password again.
This happens to me as an admin and to all site users.

I tried to reinstall your plugin a few times, played with the settings – but the problem is still there.

    Can you help please?

    Thanks.

What happens when you revert your theme to a standard wordpress theme such as twentysixteen? Does the issue go away?

I switched the theme to twentyseventeen, and the problem remains. WordPress resets passwords.

It’s back to normal only if I uninstall your plugin.

    Hi,

Can you paste here the exact error message you get? What features under User Login > Login Lockdown tab you have enabled?
