# Login Problem

 * Hi all,
 * hope this is the right place for my topic. I am encountering unusual problems
   with my webiste, I list them here:
 * (Please note the website is not online and using a temporary domain)
 * – I log in and the website has disappeared. It’s empty. Then I try again and 
   is back
 * – I visit one of page of my website from my browser history and I can enter my
   website navigate through it but can’t access to the dashboard
 * – I installed the 2 factors verification for the access and once I manage to 
   log in without it.
 * Are these things common or should I be worry about them?

 * Try [manually resetting your plugins](https://wordpress.org/support/article/faq-troubleshooting/#how-to-deactivate-all-plugins-when-not-able-to-access-the-administrative-menus)(
   no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one
   individually until you find the cause. I think it’s probably to do with 2-factor
   verification plugin you set up.
 * If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via [SFTP or FTP](https://wordpress.org/support/article/ftp-clients/),
   or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to `/wp-content/
   themes/` and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force
   the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (
   theme functions can interfere like plugins).

 * Hi Niall, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately what you’re suggesting sound not
   clear, cause I am probably not that expert.
 * I am afraid I can cause more damages to my website moving around the way you 
   suggested.

 * Hi Niall,
 * 2 weeks are gone and I am still having the same problem: my site has disappeared.
   I tried writing on th Italian forum and I tried again in the english one but 
   didn’t get anywhere. I also asked professionals for help but didn’t get any answer:
 * Would you perhaps be able to help me further?

 * Hello Luca,
 * I read your original post again. It seems that the 2 factor verification plugin
   is causing this issue. Could you please try disabling that plugin by following
   the instructions here: [https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/disable-wordpress-plugins/](https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/disable-wordpress-plugins/)?
   This process shouldn’t cause further problems on your site.
