 * after logging out I can’t return to the website – it loops back to the login
   screen –
 * it works (link returns to site) _if I disable this plugin …_
 * while I’m in admin/edit mode I can see the site okay – it breaks when I logout…

 * the site url seems to only fetch the login screen

 * Sorry for the inconvenience. Here’s how the plugin is supposed to work:
 * When a shortcode is encountered, the system checks to see if the user is logged
in. If he is, the page is rendered normally but if he isn’t he is redirected
   to the login page.
 * If after logging out you are being redirected to the page where a shortcode is
present then the behavior that you are seeing is not strange. However if your
whole website becomes inaccessible (even the places where a shortcode hasn’t
been used) then its a problem. Please check to see which one is it and let me
   know.

 * Thanks for the speedy response. I’m being redirected from the logout/in page
_back to_ the logout/in page. When I disable the plugin this behavior stops.
I’ll remove the short code (embedded in a post) and leave the plugin enabled
   to see what happens.
It also seems anyone visiting the site can only load the
login screen – I’ll check further.
 * okay, removing the post short code for the form fixed the problem – but then
the plugin is rendered useless. Also there’s no info on your website about the
plugin that I could find. Just trying to help as I like what I’ve seen thus far&
would like to use the plugin on a number of sites. Please try to fix the problem.
I’m using weaver ii pro & the latest chrome browser on OSX – tho those factors
should not have anything to do with this behavior … weaver has it’s own short
code capabilities built-in but I don’t think that’s the problem. thanks again.

 * Hi. I wasn’t able to recreate the problem on any of my sites. However I thought
maybe other people were also facing the issue so I published a new version that
allows you to disable the redirection.
 * Just update to the latest version, go to the options panel, check “Disable Redirection
to Login Page” and hit save. Now your users will not be redirected to the login
page automatically. Instead they will be shown a message telling them that they
   need to login.

 * OK I think the problem & my confusion has been that that _when you say_ “This
lightweight plugin allows you to accept **guest posts**/articles without giving
your members access to the sensitive WordPress control panel.”
    I thought it
accepted **GUEST** posts … but it seems you are requiring that the “_guest_”
actually register first .. which makes them **NOT**_ a guest … am I correct …????
my entire purpose was to allow non-registered aka **guest** visitor(s) the ability
to post an article … otherwise they would be subscribers, contributors etc etc
and theres really no “frontend” for visitors or guests who aren’t registered
   first

 * I see. Guest posts usually refer to posts from the owners of other blogs for
promotion purposes. It doesn’t mean they don’t have to register. But I can see
now that the description is a bit ambiguous. Now that we have cleared this up,
could you please remove or update your rating? Thanks
