Login logger who stores a log-file on the server? (3 posts)

Ahoy, running my very first wordpress atm and loving it.

But I need a login logger(I've tried a few) who stores the log-file on my server, physically. The one's I've tried haven't done that.

The reason why I want it is to use fail2ban with it, banning those who tries to bruteforce my wordpress-login. With fail2ban it will check in the log if someone(from an IP) fails to login. If that happens for 3 times, fail2ban will ban the IP.

[No bumping. If it's that urgent, consider hiring someone.]

They say better late than never....

Try "WP fail2ban" - should do exactly what you need. I had the same problem and as far as I could tell no-one else had written anything.
