  • Use FTP to rename the buddypress and/or s2Member plugin folders. That will ensure that both are deactivated.

If you still can’t login after doing that, your problem lies elsewhere, and you’ll need to rename other folders too.

Thanks for that KTS915. I tried it and it worked!
Unfortunately it still isn’t allowing a direct to backstage.rogerberkeley.com/wp-admin, so I have to use a back route in order to view the WordPress dashboard. My main cause of concern isn’t that it’s another few clicks for me to get to where I want to go, but that members will be unable to register/login.
Would you or anyone else have any ideas about fixing that?

It sounds like you have a theme or plugin conflict. Change to the 2015 theme, deactivate all your plugins, change the s2member folder name back and reactivate s2Member. If it now works as it should, you had a conflict.

Turn things back on one by one and re-test to discover what was causing the conflict.

Great thanks a million! There was a problem with 2015, so I used 2014 instead and now it’s working again. Thanks for all the help! 🙂
