# Login issue

 * Hi,
 * I am not being able to login on my admin page in wordpress. I have tried three
   browsers and tried changing the password, but nothing happens. When I try to 
   login there’s no signal that the page has acknowledged my name and password, 
   it just stays without activity.
 * Never happened before…

 * **1️⃣** Clear your browser’s cache and cookies. Sometimes, old data can cause
   login issues. Try using Incognito or Private browsing mode to see if it makes
   a difference.
 * **2️⃣** **Check for Errors:** **⤵**
   Enable WordPress debugging by adding these
   lines to your `wp-config.php` file:`define('WP_DEBUG', true);define('WP_DEBUG_LOG',
   true);define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);
 * This will log errors to a file called `debug.log` in the `wp-content` directory.
   Check this file for any clues.
 * **3️⃣ Contact Hosting Provider:** **⤵**
   If none of the above steps work, there
   might be an issue with your server. Contact your hosting provider for further
   assistance.

 * If you have access on cPanel, I suggest you to deactivate plugins and check if
   any plugins is causing the issue or not.
