login is not working after update to 7.1 version

Hi,

After update “theme-my-login” to version 7.1 the login is not working anymore.

This is the error in the console:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘errors’ of undefined
at Object.<anonymous> (theme-my-login.min.js?ver=7.1:1)
at i (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
at x (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:4)
at XMLHttpRequest.c (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:4)

I have faced the same error on the website which name is https://www.recablog.com/login/
So Kindly please help me to resolve this error.

There was no choice but to open a backup my site before the upgrade

Hi Guys,
I have a similar issue.
When a user log in and clicks on Login nothing happens.
When you then refresh the page, you are suddenly logged in.

It’s on this site: https://www.contravermin.com/nl/login/
Hope this helps finding the issue.

Sorry but I can’t,as mentiond 10 days ago I had to restore backup before the issue happens (meaning I downgrade to previous version).

So currently I can’t reproduce it.

It runs on SSO and comes back to it. Before that happens it blocks to js to redirect. when using wp-login.php it doesn’t do that. right now I have reverted the plugin back to the previous version and working.

You can disable AJAX like so:
```
function disable_tml_ajax( $form_name, $form ) {
    $form->remove_attribute( 'data-ajax' );
}
add_action( 'tml_registered_form', 'disable_tml_ajax', 10, 2 );
```

Hey there!

I’m not very tech savvy.
I updated all the plugins for my website and now none of my members are able to login.
Had my hosting service look into it and they came back with an error on the URL:
https://maxshank.com/wp-content/plugins/theme-my-login/assets/scripts/theme-my-login.min.js?ver=7.1.1

Further looking found this error code:

I’m not sure how to resolve this issue and your help would be greatly appreciated.

The answer was my response right above your post. However, if you’ve updated to 7.1.1, you can disabled AJAX in Theme My Login > General settings.
