 * I have tried every trick in the book. I cannot log into my admin panel.
 * I am almost ready to re install but that would destroy my site.
 * I tried emergency.php. I tried clicking on send new password. Nothing happens.
   No password is sent.
 * The emergency says: wrong user name.
 * there must be an easy backdoor solution. Every solution is very involuted.

 * No there is no “backdoor solution” . You will have to reset your password using
   the database.
