login hangs, have to refresh page to complete login.

    when trying to login to the site using an admin account on the front end of the site i get the following error in console and the login form hangs. I have to reload the page manually to see the logged in menu.

    The login appears to work without issues when using a subscriber account.

    ERROR: Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://campwilderness.co.uk/’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure XMLHttpRequest endpoint ‘http://campwilderness.co.uk/wp-admin/’. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

    Any ideas what might be causing this?

    Hi,

    it looks like your site is correctly loading on SSL for the frontend but not the backend.

    What are you using to manage redirecting to HTTPS?

    If you go to Settings > General, both WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) are set as https://campwilderness.co.uk/?

    If not and you see http://campwilderness.co.uk/ in any of those, please change it to https://campwilderness.co.uk/ and let me know if that was it.

    Thanks for your reply. I can confirm that both urls

    WordPress Address (URL) || Site Address (URL)

    are both set to “https://campwilderness.co.uk”

    Hi,

    I tried to register on your site and also tried to log in via lightbox and it works fine for me. Can you clear your browser cache and check if it works for you or not? If not then can you provide a recorded video so that I can regenerate the issue and help you out to solve it?

    Hi Patrik, thanks for taking the time to check.

    The issue only happens when logging in as an admin user. When creating a new account as a subscriber and logging in the login popup works as intended…
