    Are you maybe able to update your PHP cURL extension?

    It might be a bug in the extension, as opposed to PHP itself.

    We use a shared hosting: it was impossible to upgrade the extension for now.
    So, we moved from framasphere.org to diasp.org and the plugin works now.

    I publish the info here in case someone else encounters a similar problem.
