• I have a single user blog.
    No reader users.
I log in with my user ID and password.
About two weeks(?) passes and then login expires such that I must re-login.
Is there a place I can adjust this?
I would like to not have to keep logging in. I’m on a secure machine on top of a mountain guarded by a pack of wolves and 300 ninja pigs. There is no useful reason for this logout and I would like to stop it.

  • If logging back in once every two weeks is a substantial bite out of your busy schedule, perhaps you could lengthen the cookie expiration time to your liking in http://core.trac.wordpress.org/browser/branches/3.1/wp-includes/pluggable.php#L665

You might need to experiment a little, but I think that’s the spot.

    🙂

+1 for the pigs. I love bacon.

Many thanks! I thought it must be in there somewhere but I wasn’t finding it. Not that it was a big bite of my time, I had debated not even posting this question, but it became a point of curiosity…

And I love bacon too, as you might guess since I have 300 pigs. 🙂 🙂 🙂 Yes, for real! We raise pastured pigs. Some of the big breeders are 800 lbs or even a lot larger than that.

Nah…. I was just being a wise-guy and playing into your obvious sense of humor! I hope that setting is what you were after!
