# Login error

 * Since a few days the login is not working properly (ultimate member plugin – 
   latest version). After giving the credentials it returns to the login page again
   and i am not logged in.
 * The goes for the WP admin page. But when i use this login wordfence tells me 
   that i am logged in.
   WP is release 7.1

 * Your Login page with the `redirect_to` parameter will redirect you to the home
   page after logging.
 * Verify that the home page is not cached. If a page is cached, you may see an 
   old version of it – the one before you logged in.
 * Or use a login link without the `redirect_to` parameter. By default plugin redirects
   users to their profiles after logging. This can be changed in the user role [Login Options](https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/103-user-roles-settings#login-options).
   The `redirect_to` parameter has a greater priority than the settings.
