Support » Plugin: Redis Object Cache » Login Cache?

  • Hi, I use another plugin that has a front-end login form. I noticed when I tried to login as another user, it wouldn’t work until I flushed redis. Then I was able to login, so I assume the login issue was a cache issue.

Do I need to exclude these login pages from the cache? If so, might there a list of other recommended pages that need to be excluded also or is there a setting for cases like these I should be using?

    Thanks!
    Craig

    Hi Craig,

you can’t exclude pages from object caching, only cache groups.

So, does object caching affect logins in some way then? Just trying to figure out why I couldn’t login until I flushed the cache?

    Hi Craig!

Yes, WordPress caches the user object can logins by default. Did that just happens once, or does it keep happening?
