I’m sorry, but I don’t understand the question. What login button?

Sorry – I have clients login in button in my navigation – but something weird is happening. I use theme my login plug in for user site login. On my home page – the menu is not updating with the new menu
    https://www.virtualsoftballacademy.com/

Locally I try to click on login and nothing happens its inactive

But I go to another page
    https://www.virtualsoftballacademy.com/memberships/

and the new menu showing in the my account and the login button is active and works

I noticed today that it is working fine on my phone so am I too assume this is some caching issue?

FYI fledgling wordpress programmer here with enough knowledge to be dangerous but maybe bot enough to configure cache plug in properly

    Yes – sounds like caching.

Same issue here with tml-button submit, after 7.0.15 -> 7.1
Cleared browser and wp server cache.
Tested with Chromium and Firefox on Linux
Both WP 5.4.1 multi and single site installations

    AJAX issue ?
However, I get a response when credentials are incorrect.
But I get not redirected to the wp-admin dashboard with correct (!!) credentials.

I reverted to 7.0.15 and no issues.
It seems not to be a simple cache problem.

Same problem. Can no longer login in. Button is doing nothing. Cleared cache but still can’t login. I’ll have to revert until this is fixed.

@kgwydir1 @pumpkineater @kaotik Can you check your browser console, error_log and wp-admin/error_log and report any relevant messages? I’m sure they will help fix this issue.

Also, specify your settings and any extensions you may be using.

@jfarthing84 Is it possible that caching is storing a static copy of AJAX responses somehow and some pattern needs to be excluded?

Guys, this issue was before the release of 7.1. You are not experiencing the same thing. Please, open a new topic.

Anyhow, 7.1.1 solved the issue I had with 7.1 🙂
    Moved from 7.0.15 to 7.1.1

    Thank you Jeff !
