Hi,
Thanks for contacting us about the login and register block.
I think I’ve identified the issue can you just confirm something:
Once you register a new account form the WordPress default process page the user account is created as well as for our block (you can check in our user list) but using our Gutenberg block, you don’t receive the Email to setup the account password.
Is that correct?
Cheers,
These are pre-existing admin/editor accounts. Not creating any new ones or resetting passwords.
Hi,
Oh OK, so the registration works, that’s just the login that does not work?
I have no idea about the registration, am only concerned with the login form. The site I’m trying it on has “allow anyone to register” turned off.
Hi,
I’ve also tried this configuration and I’m not able to reproduce the error.
Can you tell me what’s the block configuration? do you have any error when you try to connect?
Cheers,
When I try to login I get a login failed message, username/email or password is not correct. But it’s the correct username and password.
Block config: don’t show register link; don’t show input field icons; everything else is default except button colours. No recaptcha.
The WordPress URL is a subdirectory, site URL is the main domain (i.e. site is running from a subdirectory). So the normal /wp-admin/ link is in the subdirectory.

Hi,
I’m sorry but I’m not able to reproduce this error on my side. I’ll ask our developer to run some test with a subdirectory structure maybe.
Cheers,
I’m closing this one because of the other issue.
