  • sounds like both issues could be a plugin conflict
use your host’s file manager or ftp client to rename the /plugins folder
this will de-activate all of them
    try to login
    if able, check your feed
if one or both issues are resolved, rename the /plugins folder back to normal
re-activate plugins one by one testing in between

    hmm… not working…its still blank..

You may have a blank line at the top of your theme’s header.php file.

    nope… there’s none…
also as 3.0.4 has been released is there anyway i can upgrade my wp manually w/o login… it may rectify the problm…

I had the same exact issue with one of the site that I manage for a client and it was a plugin conflict just like Samuel said earlier. So what I did was simple rename from /plugins to /plugins- and voila all good and working. Can you try that one more time?

After you login simple remove that “-” from plugins, but prior to that check all of your plugins first.

sorry dat too didn’t work for me… no need to do anything anymore.

see now you owe me a coffee 🙂

    Enjoy and Happy New Year,

ohkk i solved my problm myself by few of permutations
    1. I first backed up all the files
    2. copied all the files nd folders of the updated version in my root except the wp-include
    3. I deleted the wp-config.php
    4. went on wid the .org/blog
    5. created the wp-config.php with all the prevs database info
    6. went to wp-admin/upgrade.php rather than wp-admin/install.php
    7. Still got the blank page but RSS started wrking(a ray of hope)
    8. renamed plugins folder nd voilla!!
also i founded the nasty plugin who caused all d pain…

BTW thanx to all for your effort…

    Glad to hear that.
