 * Hi I hope this is the right support forum. I am the new webmaster for [removed]
I just created a bbPress forum from a plugin. I’m wondering about the login for
forum users. Is this different from the login for admins? I don’t want the new
users to get sent to the websites admin backend. I ultimately would like any
new member with participant role to be sent to the forum home page after login
instead of the admin section. Maybe this will happen automatically?? I can’t
seem to test it out as I’m already the admin.

 * Please ask bbPress support for questions regarding their plugin functionality:

 * I’m actually trying to find out about wordpress login. bbPress says their plugin
and wordpress login are one in the same. So I’m just wondering how the wordpress
login knows were to direct the user. To the website access or the admin dashboard.

 * Only the plugin developer can answer this question. WordPress already provides
hooks to forward users after a login. However, these must be used by a plugin–
   in this case bbPress.
 * By the way, you can test this yourself by logging into a private browser window
and testing how a normal user finds his way around your project.

 * I tested it out and the WP login takes users to the site not the admin section,
   so I’m good.
