    If user, it is already unique. One user can vote 1 time only.

    I perhaps didn’t explain clearly.

    what if the same user logged on different devices and vote multiple users? Now we only have constraint on user OR ip and caches.

    I don’t get what you mean, if a user has registered with your site via wp-register.php, he or she will be able to vote only one time regardless of how many device he is on. If he is not logged-in, he will not be able to vote.

    if I limit the log to unique user name, people can register multiple user names to vote.

    if I limit the log to unique ip and caches, people can log on multiple devices with various IPs and caches to vote multiple times.

    Just wonder if we can put these two together to avoid potential holes.

    Let me know if that’s still not clear.
