    Hey @d3v4n5h,

The quickest way back into the site is to manually disable the Wordfence plugin directory using sFTP. If you’re not sure how to do this, your host can help.

Once you’re back in try readjusting the Threshold in Wordfence > Login Security > Settings.

Please let me know how it goes.

Thank you @wfgerald so much. I tried disabling it myself, however I wasn’t aware that the recovery codes were 16 characters making the whole row and not just any set of 4 characters. Moreover, I also didn’t know I had to use it appended to the password.

The way I got around to it, is by rolling back to the backup before trying to upgrade the wordpress and then disabling all the plugins except WordFence.

Here’s my question: Is there a way to enable WordFence using sFTP?
