Great plugin by the way. This time I’m trying to login using the old http password and it won’t work. Tried changing at the database, that didn’t work. I sent for a new password (a reset) that didn’t work I guess because the https isn’t in the wp database.

Any suggestions. I’m going to go to the ftp and delete the plugin next. Hope that works. Then redoing it with the http password again.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

A change from http to https doesn’t change your password, so if your password doesn’t work anymore, it has another cause. Changing the password in the database won’t work, as it is hashed. Because you edited the password in the database, you will now need to do a password reset. If the password reset doesn’t work, maybe the email doesn’t get sent, or the reset email ends up in the spam. For a successful reset, only your email address needs to be in the database.

As a switch to https won’t change the password, removing the plugin won’t make a difference.

What might have happened: After activating SSL, you probably were logged out, because the home_url changed to https. Then you can just log back in over https with the same password.
