I have copied an existing wp site by copying the database to a new database, and downloading all of the site’s files and uploading them to a subdomain. I have updated the db settings in wp-config.php.
All of the links subdomain.domain.com are still pointing to pages in domain.com, and when I log in to subdomain.domain.com/wp-admin it redirects me to the admin panel of the wp install on the domain (the real site) instead of into the admin area of the test site (my subdomain).
What setting have I missed changing?
I’ve tried renaming .htaccess to something else so that it doesn’t affect the site, but that only allows me to navigate the subdomain, but I still can’t login to the admin panel.
