  • I can’t even FIND my wordpress site, or log in, because it takes me back to my old blog

I see a WordPress.org site. When did you change the DNS? It might take up to 72 hours to propagate fully.

It works for me too. Are you using a Windows PC? Try opening a command prompt and run this command:

    ipconfig /flushdns

Then clear your browsers cache and cookies and try your site again.

Yes I already did that before and it didn’t help. But now I tried installing wordpress.com and it actually worked! But I can’t import my old blog, install themes or pugins. I did however manage to do a “test” post that according to my friends show up when they search for the blog. But I can’t touch anything else. When trying to import the wordpress.com blog, it just says “Sorry, there has been an error.
The uploaded file could not be moved to /home4/visualo8/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2013/02.” I tried numerous times

When I try downloading a theme it says “Could not create directory. /home4/visualo8/public_html/wp-content/upgrade/pagelines.tmp”

also not able to upload any pictures “The uploaded file could not be moved to /home4/visualo8/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2013/02.”

That’s a separate issue regarding how file permissions are configured on your server. Start a new thread for this.

    Ok sorry I didnt realize
