I’ve got custom users which connect wordpress user records to one of my tables in the db, so i created one form that would help the user dynamically add various sets of information to the db in different stages, so i submit the forms through ajax and reload the “next” pages after a successful submit.
the problem is: after I’ve inserted a new wordpress user and I attempt to log the user in (both in the script called using AJAX), the login works on my localhost, but as soon as i go online with it, the login is successful on the server side, but after redirecting to a restricted (for logged in users) page, it says i’m not logged in.
I’m thinking it has to with the user session being created on the server side and not using the client’s IP, is this true? or is this a wordpress issue?
