Logged out of wordpress, can’t log in, xampp

This morning I was working in WordPress.org which I have installed in XAMPP. This afternoon I wanted to start working again, but somehow the system had logged me out and now I can’t log in again.
Have tried several times to get a new password using my loginname and my emailadress, but nothing works.
Went into my phpadmin to check the users in my installation database, changed the password there, but still no luck.

Is there any other way to get new a new login for this wordpress that’s installed in XAMPP?
Or any way to get it going again?

I have no idea how I got logged out in the first place.

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site. I have solved this issue by downloading the new zipfile and then importing the files into my rootfile. The update has now been installed.

You can go to the database in the users table and change the password dont forget to use MD5 while changing to any password of your choice, you dont need the password reset optio
