There shouldn’t be an issue with Chrome in particular. There are a number of reasons you could have been logged out though, for example:
* Clearing your browsing data / cookies in Chrome settings
* Visiting your website on a similar machine using Chrome on the same network can sometimes drop a session (if this is the case, tick the ‘allow duplicate sessions’ box)
* A conflict with another plugin
I would advise checking the expiry of the wordpress_loggin_in cookie to see if it expires in 1 year or not.
