How can I make a tour only shown to logged-in users?
Thank you very much

Hi,this is not implemented yet. Now there is only url parameter lock, BUT this should not be difficult to make so we can add it to short term dev. process. Also we will ask our developer if there is some work-around till it is implemented. Just to make it clear … are you talking about tour on frontend (not in admin board)?
Have a nice day
DeepPresentation teamHi
Thank you for the reply
I want the tour to run when a user registers on my site
Thank you very muchHi there,
Can I ask you for your web site address where you want to run a tour, so we can be sure to work on feature that will cover your needs?Hi
My website address: https://mutiaradakwah.com
So, if there are users who register, I want them to be shown the tour On their profile page (because they may not know how)Hi
Can I use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-access-shortcodes/
Thank youHi, I think it wouldn’t work together BUT I have an good news for you. We already integrated this feature to our plugin so you’ll be able to run tour just for logged in users😉 Now it is in testing phase as there were more changes and new features(more in pro) so we want to be sure everything works. So you can expect update on beginning of new week.
Btw … now I’m thinking … isn’t user’s profile page shown just for logged in users itself? If so, then it should work even now … ?
Hi
Thank you for including this feature
Yes, you are right, the profile page is displayed for logged in users
However … Not only logged in users can view the profile page, but other people who are not logged in can also see the profiles of other people who are logged in.
Like Facebook and Instagram, we can see other users’ profiles without having to log in
Thank youHi,
Run tour just for logged-in users is done. Please update plugin to latest version 1.6 and in configuration for tour in admin board you can find option for it.
Please let us know, if it works for you?Okay, thank you very much! It works
But, what does the “Interaction” setting mean?
Thank youYou are welcome. Happy to hear that it works for you.
Interaction … if it is enabled, user is allowed to interact with highlighted element … e.g. when it is text box, it allows user to write etc.
So I’m closing this thread as it is solved.
However if you have any other question, feel free to start new thread or contact us at support@deeppresentation.comOk, thank you
