# Log out issues

 * Could you update the plugin for, or direct me on changing the code so that your
   logout functionality first checks if already logged out? A problem occurs when
   a duplicate logged in site is formed in another tab of the browser and a user
   logs out of the first and then the 2nd tab logout throws an error reading “WordPress
   Failure Notice”. I want to keep everything purely on the frontend.
 * I had also noticed this error independent of the above, but removed the shortcode
   and repasted in the logout page to fix it for the time being. It seems the logout?
   _wpnonce=xyz123etc suffix part of the url changes periodically causing the WordPress
   Failure Notice and requiring a second screen to hit logout again.

 * If you already logged out in one tab, why do it again in another? There’s not
   separate cookies per tab.
