WP Security Audit Log
[resolved] Log keeps saying I've disabled an option after updating the Comment Blacklist (4 posts)

Every time I update the default WordPress Comment Blacklist here:
    Settings > Discussion > Comment Blacklist >

    The log says this:

Disabled the option "Anyone can register"

But I have not disabled it. When I go to:
Settings > General > General Settings > Membership > Anyone can register
It is still checked. But to be on the safe side, I uncheck it, "Save Changes", then go back and check it and "Save Changes".

Does anyone know why the log is saying that? Especially since it is still checked?

    Hi MickeyRoush,

Thank you for using our plugin.

Unfortunately we cannot reproduce this issue, which means to troubleshoot this further we would need more information about your installation, such as a list of what other WordPress plugins you have installed.

For security reasons I wouldn't recommend posting such list here, therefore can you please contact us via email on plugins@wpwhitesecurity.com?

Looking forward to hearing from yuo.

Thanks for the reply. It is strange. It only happens on a few of my sites. I've been testing your plugin on several of my sites and for the most part, they have most of the same plugins. Some do have different plugins, so I'm thinking it's a plugin or theme issue.

I'm just going to go ahead and mark this as resolved. And if I can figure out what exactly is causing it, I'll report back here. So far, I have tried deactivating plugins that I believe might be causing the issue, but it still occurs. I'll have to do some more testing when I get a chance. I'll reply back if I found out anything else.
