No, that shouldn’t happen. Be sure that your theme is properly utilizing the Loop.
I believe it is. It’s a Genesis theme and I haven’t modified the page or the loop. Any other ideas I can check? Even after logging in, I still see the login form, which is confusing to my clients.
Also, I’m using this shortcode to display the login:
[theme-my-login instance="1" show_pass_link=0]
it’s the same one I used before this upgrade and didn’t have a problem. Now, I can’t seem to get the login form to disappear after a user logs in.
Huh. Sorry for all of the replies. I’m wondering if I’m not using this plugin correctly. Do the shortcodes still work the way they did before the latest updates? I just tested this out on a dev site with no other plugins activated and the Twenty Eleven theme and I still see the login form even after logging in. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for your help.
Where is the shortcode at?
I’m using the shortcode on a page.
Is this on a TML page or…?
I suppose this is a bug. You can workaround this by adding default_action="login"
to the shortcode.
Ok – thanks so much for your quick responses and help! Will try that out.
Having the same error with the sidebar widget. When an incorrect password is used:
Fatal error: Call to a member function get_option() on a non-object in /home/XXXXX/public_html/wp-content/plugins/theme-my-login/modules/custom-redirection/custom-redirection.php on line 93
Did I miss a thread about this? Thanks!
When I upgraded theme my login, the login on the top tool bar (page) is no longer there. I see multiple pages now. Before there was only one page,LOGIN, and it showed on top. Now i see one for Login, Logoff, and three others. I am using the sidebar, but I want the top login button (page) that is on the tool bar to come back
