    Hi @lapg

I’m glad you reached out. Let me help you with this one.

It appears that this issue may be related to WordPress version 6.8.x. As a possible workaround, please try downloading the latest version of The Events Calendar and locate the following file:

    the-events-calendar/lang/the-events-calendar-sv_SE.mo

    Then, copy this file to:

    wp-content/languages/plugins

Once done, check if this resolves the issue. Let me know how it goes!

Thanks a lot, it worked. 😊
So I guess I have to do the same thing if I use other languages too.
    Is it a bug?

    Hi @lapg

I’m glad to hear the workaround helped!

Yes, this was indeed a known bug. The good news is that a fix has already been released. Please update The Events Calendar to the latest version to apply the fix.

If you continue to experience any issues afterward, feel free to reach out—I’ll be happy to assist further.

But I already had version 6.13.1 installed which is the latest I guess, since it does not show there is any update?

    Hi @lapg

I just tested this on my end using only The Events Calendar v6.13.1, without Loco Translate, and the page appears to be properly translated:

If you’re still experiencing the issue, please feel free to share the steps to replicate it, or provide a screenshot or screen recording. This will help us investigate further on our end.

Thank you so much for testing. If I have problems with other languages I will get back to you.

But still it says “All day” on this page: https://skanorshamn.se/pa-gang/ and not “Hela dagen”?

    I even deactivated Loco Translate…

    Hi @lapg ,

Thank you for your message, and I’m sorry to hear of the continued difficulties.

I have taken a look at the https://skanorshamn.se/pa-gang/ page, and it doesn’t look like this page is using The Events Calendar default layout and styling to list events on the page (compared to https://demo.theeventscalendar.com). Are you using a third-party plugin for this layout and styling?

    Thread Starter Lena P

    (@lapg)

Yes I am using Events Calendar Modules For Divi. Does that make any difference?

    Hi @lapg ,

Thank you for your message and for confirming that you’re using a third-party Events Calendar Modules For Divi plugin for the layout of our https://skanorshamn.se/pa-gang/ page.

It makes a difference, as translation affects the front end and not how events data are stored in the database. That said, I recommend reaching out to the plugin’s support for further guidance on translating “All day” text on the said page.
