I deactivated the plugin and was able to log back into my site. I deleted the version I had and downloaded the new version, but experienced the same issue. After some head scratching as to what this meant, I discovered that by enabling my browser to allow my website’s access, I was able to log-in. I can only assume that AIOWPS plugin has caused this, even though I have not enabled ‘cookie based brute force login prevention’? Am I correct here? please advise. I still find this to be a great plugin with diverse features! The only option I can see is the ‘img’ tab requesting a URL, but I do not have a URL for the image. What am I missing? * I am certain that this has nothing to do with my other plugins. I discussed the case with my host also and they pointed out that “AIOWPS’s plugin has created a heavy .htaccess which is likely overriding the server security rules!”. I have deactivated the plugin now twice and I can confirm that as soon as I activate it again it allows the blocked IP ranges to access the site with no problem.
