When I activated the Plugin, I got this message and was kicked out of the Dashboard (where xxxxx.org is my domain):

An error occurred during a connection to xxxxx.org.

SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

    (Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)

I get this message when trying to get into the plugin's settings to reset:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function plugin_basename() in /home/content/78/9015178/html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-https/wordpress-https.php on line 31

Am I doing it correctly? i am trying to access my site by going to this URL:

if you have any detailed information or could walk me through it, that would be really helpful.

Maybe I should clarify the instructions. You need to edit that file, not browse to it. The directions in the FAQ are pretty clear, otherwise. Open that file, uncomment the reset line, hit any page on your site (or the dashboard) and the comment the line back out.

So how would I access it? via FTP? I'll have to check on exactly how to do that. Sorry for the noob questions.

Nevermind - I'll try to figure it out. I'll let you know if I have any more plugin-related questions.
