I just wish someone could tell me how to disable the country blocker plugin!
hi sorry to hear that.
You can do url turn off by adding ?help=yes to any of the url in your web site.
You will need to know the wordpress admin email address.
The other way is to remove it from the server using ftp access.
Thanks for the response.
Can I just use ftp to delete the plugin from the server ?
What other things must I remove?
I’ve deleted the plugin from our site via ftp but still am blocked from my site with the same redirection page that i setup in the first place.

it would be impossible. by deleting the plugin from your server you would have remove the redirection page that come with the system.
I would clear your browser catch.
I’m still locked out of my site. Your plugin is diabolical !
How can I get rid of the redirection page without logging in to WordPress?
Mike
If you remove the plugin for your web site. it would not be able to run.
if you try adding the ?help=yes to your web site address
like if your web site was google.com
it would look at google.com?help=yes
it would ask you for the admin email address
that is the 2 way of stopping the plugin
if you have database access you can look in to table
wp_options if you are using the defaut setting look for gwpcb_active under that options_name you would see the options_value to be set to ‘on’ change it to ‘no’
I do not one thing to ask with the api for you using the free or paid?
Thank you
Thanks for the reply.
I have tried all the options you gave me and nothing allows me access to the website -it just returns to the country blocked page I created after I installed the plugin. I tried the usual ftp method of deleting the plugin which usually allows access for every other plugin but that doesn’t work with your plugin. All I get is the same block message when I try and login.
Is there anything else I can try to regain access to my website ?
Mike
IF you have remove the plugin from your system. that page you see is NOT COMING FROM THE PLUGIN. it is not the plugin that is your trouble now. it is something else.
The plugin only working if the plugin code is in the system and turn on.
So if you have remove it something else is the trouble and I am sorry to say, but I do not know what it is.
Hi Karl,
I managed to get back into my site by recovering the files and databases from backup. I then disabled all the plugins on the site. I removed the ‘redirection page’ I setup in your plugin. By activating plugins one by one I found the site was back up and running.
I haven’t re- activated your plugin yet.
Thanks for everything and good luck developing your pluginz.
