    Hello!

I’m new to WP, and have been learning & doing through the process of making my own WP-site. I was quite satisfied as I finished the project this week.

I have used Customizr as the theme – and did an update on Friday afternoon, without knowing this could give me trouble.

After the update I’ve been locked out, and can’t login to the admin. The message I get is Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You need to turn on cookies to use WordPress.

I’ve been resetting my IE and Google settings and searched for solutions in the support forums, but haven’t been able to solve it yet. I realize I probably should have created a Child theme before updating, but you learn as you go.

Hopefully someone can help me solve mye problem – thanks 🙂

    Aina

First make sure your browser is configured to accept cookies.
Next, log on to your server and using a file-system view of your server locate the wp-content folder.
Inside that folder is a themes folder.
Go into that themes folder and locate the customizr theme folder.
Add the words “-hold” to the customizr theme folder name.

Point your browser at your site and hopefully you’ll be able to access the WordPress admin screens and clean things up.

Thanks, I’ve tried this, but it doesn’t work out 🙁

I’m thinking it may be an idea to activate another theme to get around it,but I don’t know how I can di this in the FTP-program. Could this be a solution?
