2.9.1, actually. Upgraded today before installing some buddypress plugins.

Too many changes at once--guilty as charged.
After installing a buddypress plugin, this is what I get:

"Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_blog_option() in /home/dakineda/public_html/enlightenedhorsemanship/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core.php on line 566"
    Can't get in--what to do?

Hi, if you have ftp access to your server, go to wp-content/themes/plugins/ and change the name of the buddypress plugin folder to buddypressold or something like that. Then it is deactivated and you should be able to login again.

According to your error report it should be here:
    wp-content/plugins/buddypress/

and wp-content can be in a directory called www or public_html or anything, depending on your host

    Download the BuddyPress Trunk here.
Scroll down to the bottom and grab the zip archive.
