Hi Geoff,
Try the following reset addon. Let me know if this helps you.
Regards
OK,
Moved folder and file to plugins folder and it showed up in the admin page. Activated it and it did not lock me out but when i tried to access the settings i get:
“Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
When I activate AIOWPS it throws me out to the login page and I get the captcha message again (in red: ERROR for site owner: Invalid domain for site key).
I have moved the domain to a new provider (from GoDaddy to Bluehost) and this may be the issue with the captcha but without getting into the site I cannot update the key.

More details.
I discovered the aiowps_backups directory which contained a vanilla .htaccess file (remember i had removed mine and not replaced it) and by reentering the site I found a message that asked if I wanted to restore the content of the .htaccess file and that AIOWPS was activated and I could access the settings.
However, I still got the same message from trying to access the reset plugin settings.
So, I got into the main settings and was suprised to see that the orignal settings were still there although I had not accepted reinstalling the .htaccess file. So, where are these settings coming from? Where are they bing stored? I need to know in case I ache a similar problem.
Once into the settings I changed the login page (I think when I transferred the site it picked up some incorrect data from a database which is why the google captcha was not working) and then I reinstalled the Captcha keys which were for the wrong site (the data base error).
All good, so I logged out and then logged back in but (and I do not know if this is Safari’s automation or something on your side, as soon as I enter my stored username, it added the stored password and immediately tried to access the site BEFORE I could do the Captcha.
The lockout is working because now I am locked out again! I am getting this message:
ERROR: Access from your IP address has been blocked for security reasons. Please contact the administrator.
Will this let me in after a period of time or do I need to turn it all off again? I will make sure I tick the “Send an unlock email” box next time.
Geoff
YOU MAY NOT WANT TO KNOW THIS!
I logged out and found that I was still locked out. I organised an unlock email as I have now set it up but before I used it, knowing that I have now reset the login page to xxx from wp-admin, i tried to login to the site from my Bluehost dashboard.
It let me in! It appears to override the AIOWPS renamed login page setting and allows wp-admin to work again. It used a security key to do it so I do not think it is a security issue but I thought I ought to let you know.
Once I logout of the Bluehost opened session, the site reverts to my xxx setting and wp-admin does not work. Actually it is really useful as it allows me to get in and out of the site without ftp access but i thought I would let you know about it.
Geoff
PS, I am now in, Captcha is working and as long as I enter my details manually it lets me in. I would still like to know why it is trying to log me in automatically before I can apply the captcha as it will keep locking me out if I forget.

Hi,
PS, I am now in, Captcha is working and as long as I enter my details manually it lets me in. I would still like to know why it is trying to log me in automatically before I can apply the captcha as it will keep locking me out if I forget.
I am not sure about this unless there is some sort of auto login feature in your host backend. You might like to ask them?
However the good news is that it is working again.
Kind regards
Hi, is your issue resolved?
