Support » Plugin: All In One WP Security & Firewall » Locked out from backend

Today I moved a domain name, the website was ready and all-in-one wp security and firewall was configured.

After activating LetsEncrypt on the server, I have no longer access to the WordPress backend.
If I call http://www.domeinaam.nl/newname, the url changes to http://www.domainname.nl/wp-admin

I am locked out. Can I remove the all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall plugin with FTP without problems and start over again? Or what can I do?

    Thanks in advanced,
    kind regards,
    Begur

In the meantime,I have succeeded (via a proxy server) in getting back into the backend.

It seems that the cause is a conflict with the really-simple-ssl plugin. After having deactivated this, I can log in. If I make it active, I will be excluded.

    Hi,

Today I moved a domain name, the website was ready and all-in-one wp security and firewall was configured.

Are you saying that you moved your site to a new server? If that is the case, your best option might be to uninstall the plugin and install a fresh copy of AIOWPS.

Let me know if this helps you.

    Kind regards

    Hi,
no, I have not moved the website. I placed the new website on a server while the old website was still online at the original host. When the website was ready I moved the domain name to the hosting where I had placed the new website.

Hi, did you reinstall the plugin like I suggested above?

Hi, are you talking about the following comment?

    Hi, yes I do.
So I can’t run them both. But I have no idea why.

    Best regards.

Hi, try the following. Disable all Firewall rules, then carry out a test. Let me know what happens.

    Regards
