    Hi,

    I got a new phone and tried to reset the 2fa plug in.

    I logged in using a back up code and then uninstalled the app, reinstalled it and saved the settings then logged out hoping it will ask me to set up 2FA when i next try and log in but I’m not getting any such message.

    Just a blank screen after entering my username and password.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Thank you for using our plugin.

    I am sorry to read about your issue. Let’s first focus on restoring your access to the website; you can do so by simply renaming the plugin’s directory (/wp-content/plugins/w-2fa) via SFTP or SSH. This will deactivate the plugin and you can log in.

    Once you log in, you can rename the plugin folder to the original name to activate it back again.

    In the meantime, can you please answer these questions:

    1) Was it a complete black screen or were there any errors / notifications?
    2) Once the plugin is active, remove all 2FA options for your user but add another user and configure the same 2FA setup for it, and try to log in. Does the same problem occur?
    3) What version of WordPress, PHP and the plugin are you running?
