Locked myself out.

I recently installed wordpress and I forgot to change my password after I installed it. Like the idiot I am, I forgot to store it somewhere aswell. For some reason when it installed, wordpress didn’t send me an email. When I tried the retrieve the password function, it said it couldn’t send an email because my host may have disabled the mail() function. I tried changing the password manually in the database by changing userpass, but that didn’t work. It still tells me I have the wrong password. Help?? I do not want to have to install it again because it was a nightmare the first time(normally it’s not but I had lots of problems).
